Punctual, sincere and wise beyond her years, Katherine follows our requests and instructions to the letter, keeping us informed by messages of how our dogs are and what she has done with them in our absence.
Katherine has been incredibly patient and gentle with our shy girl Willow and also a bundle of fun for our more exuberant boy Walter. She is very thorough when ascertaining and then meeting each of their requirements. This allows us to be away from our dogs without any worry at all.

I cannot speak highly enough of Katherine, dog sitter and walker for our beloved rescue dog,
Etta. Etta is a foreign rescue with a history of anxiety and at times reactivity, and she
requires a special level of care and attention. I've invested a considerable amount of time
working with a dog behaviourist to help alleviate her anxiety, establish boundaries, and make
her walks a safe and enjoyable experience. Katherine, who has been looking after Etta since
June 2022, has proven to be an absolute blessing in this journey. Katherine has cared for Etta
numerous times while we have been away for a week or weekend, and has been able to step
in at times when asked to walk Etta or just come round to play with her in the garden if we
are going to be out for a long time in the day.
What sets Katherine apart is her unwavering dedication to Etta's well-being. She not only
understands the specific needs and requirements outlined by the behaviourist but diligently
follows them in every interaction with our furry family member. This includes providing
daily environmental enrichment and doing tricks and training with Etta to keep her mind
active, build trust and connection with her. She also arranges play dates with Etta’s canine
friend next door to maintain her social skills when I am away. This consistency in Etta's
routine has had a profoundly positive impact on her overall well-being. Etta genuinely enjoys
her company, which is a testament to Katherine's skills and compassionate approach.
Katherine's level of care extends beyond the basics. She takes the time to get to know Etta
and build a genuine connection with her. This emotional connection goes a long way in
ensuring that Etta feels safe and secure in her care. It's been a huge relief for me, as a pet
owner, to know that when I'm away on holiday or visiting friends and family, I can trust
Katherine to provide Etta with the care and attention she needs. I no longer worry about how
Etta is doing back home, and I am confident that her anxiety won't increase during my
absence, as it has in the past when left in the care of someone who didn't understand her
routine or specific requirements.
Katherine also takes time to reassure and play with my nervous young cat Nelly who is shy
around people she doesn’t know well. I know she always also gives her equal care and
regard.
Katherine's commitment to my pets, particularly in relation to meeting Etta’s needs, has not
only given me peace of mind but also allowed me the freedom to enjoy my time away,
knowing that my furry family members are in the best of hands. I am happy to recommend
Katherine as a dog/cat sitter and walker. Etta, Nelly and I are truly grateful for the wonderful
care Katherine provides.
